Certified Journeyman Electrician

Job Description

We are seeking experienced  Certified Journeyman Electricians to join our team. The ideal candidate has strong commercial and/or industrial electrical experience and can independently perform installations, troubleshooting, and electrical repairs while maintaining a high standard of safety and workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems
• Perform commercial and industrial electrical installations
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical plans
• Install and terminate conduit, wire, cable, panels, and electrical equipment
• Perform rough-in and trim electrical work
• Install and terminate EMT, PVC, MC, and other electrical raceways
• Install panels, switchgear, transformers, disconnects, and feeders
• Perform 120V/208V, 277V/480V, and 3-phase electrical work
• Troubleshoot electrical systems and identify faults efficiently
• Install lighting, switches, outlets, controls, and other electrical devices
• Perform electrical testing and ensure systems operate properly
• Work independently or as part of a crew
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all OSHA, NEC, and company safety requirements

Qualifications

• Current Journeyman Electrician certification/license
• Proven commercial or industrial electrical experience
• Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical drawings
• Proficient with conduit bending, wiring, terminations, and electrical installations
• Experience with troubleshooting and electrical repairs
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced construction environment

• Tenant improvement and new construction
• 3-phase electrical systems
• Switchgear and distribution equipment
• Transformers and feeders
• Commercial lighting and lighting controls
• EMT and PVC conduit
• Panel installation and termination
• Industrial or manufacturing environments
