Medical Payment Poster Specialist

Central Care Cancer Center is looking to hire a full-time Medical Payment Poster Specialist for our growing medical practice. This position will be based in the Administrative office located in Salina, KS. The Medical Payment Poster Specialist will work closely with the billing department as well as all clinic locations. Candidates must have excellent communication, organization and follow-up skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously. Candidates should demonstrate good judgement as well as attention to detail while working well with a team. Essential Functions Collecting, posting, and managing account payments Submitting electronic claims Identifying billing errors Required Skills, Experience and Education Knowledge of ICD9/ICD 10 and CPT coding Medicare insurance experience and knowledge Experience managing contracts Experience with complex explanation of insurance benefits Exceptional computer skills – minimum 3 years’ experience with Microsoft Word and Excel Must be qualified to participate in Federal Health Programs, including Medicare/Medicaid 2+ years medical payment posting experience Insurance experience and general knowledge High attention to detail Requirements High School Diploma #J-18808-Ljbffr
