ABOUT THE ROLE

Berkeley Rose Waldorf School invites applications for a full-time Grades Lead Class Teacher to join our faculty for the 2026–2027 academic year.

The successful candidate will bring warmth, confidence, and thoughtful classroom leadership while working collaboratively with colleagues and families to create a rich educational experience grounded in Waldorf pedagogy, our school mission, and the developmental needs of the children. The ideal candidate is a certified Waldorf teacher or is actively completing Waldorf teacher training, has successful classroom teaching experience, values collegial collaboration, and is committed to ongoing professional growth. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is strongly preferred.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Full time position. Benefits offered include health insurance (medical, vision, dental), tuition remission, mentoring and professional development opportunities.

Lead class teacher salary is $70,400 - 74,600 annually.

Founded in 2009, Berkeley Rose serves approximately 155 students from Preschool through Grade 8, along with Parent-Child classes and parent education programs that support families throughout the community.
