Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized critical care nursing services in an ICU setting, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. The role involves managing critically ill patients with a focus on telemetry and emergency procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor critically ill patients, interpreting vital signs and telemetry data.
• Administer medications and treatments following established protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient conditions, interventions, and responses.
• Ensure compliance with licensing, certification, and hospital policies.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, providing critical interventions as needed.

Qualifications:

• Current active Registered Nurse license in Colorado.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant critical care nursing experience.
• Telemetry experience preferred.
• BLS certification required upon hire.
• ACLS certification required within 3 months of start date.
• PALS or ENPC certification required within 6 months; TNCC preferred.
