The Appliance Technician plays a crucial role in servicing both residential and commercial appliances, ensuring they operate efficiently and reliably. Working independently, this technician performs scheduled maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs with a focus on excellent customer service and technical accuracy. The position involves minimal local travel within the city to attend maintenance calls.
Responsibilities
- Perform appliance repair, diagnostics, and scheduled maintenance
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues effectively
- Replace defective parts to restore appliance functionality
- Provide exemplary customer service during onsite visits
- Operate independently with minimal supervision
- Travel locally within the city to service locations
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in appliance repair
- Technical certification in appliance repair or related field
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and mechanical repair
- Skilled troubleshooting abilities
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proficient with hand tools
