What you’ll bring:
- Valid School Psychologist certification (state requirements must be met)
- Demonstrated experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting
- Strong assessment, counseling, and intervention skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organization abilities
- Compassionate, student-centered approach to supporting diverse learning needs
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for eligibility and program planning
- Provide direct counseling and intervention services to students individually and in groups
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Consult with staff on behavioral strategies, learning interventions, and crisis response
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings, offering insights on student strengths and needs
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive school climate for all students
