Position Highlights: Per Diem Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Position $37–$50 per visit Flexible scheduling One year of clinical experience required Mileage reimbursement Licensure reimbursement Supportive clinical and administrative leadership Ongoing training and professional development USA Today Top Workplaces Winner – 2024, 2025 & 2026 Your Role as a Home Care Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA): As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) with VRNS, you’ll provide skilled physical therapy services directly in patients’ homes under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. You’ll work closely with patients and their care teams to promote mobility, strength, independence, safety, and quality of life. Your responsibilities may include: Providing skilled physical therapy interventions under the direction of a Physical Therapist Providing transfer training and instruction in safe mobility techniques Educating patients and caregivers on exercises, mobility strategies, and safety techniques Monitoring patient progress and reporting changes to the supervising Physical Therapist Collaborating with Physical Therapists, nurses, occupational therapists, speech language pathologists, physicians, and other members of the care team Completing accurate and timely electronic documentation Home care offers a unique opportunity to get to know your patients and make a meaningful difference in their daily lives.
