It has been serving the community since 1941. The Emergency Room treats over 14,000 patients per year. It is staffed 24 hours a day with a dedicated emergency room physician. The facility is designated as a Level IV Trauma Center. It has been accredited for Chest Pain and as a Stroke Receiving Facility. It holds a 5-star CMS rating. Orientation occurs monthly during the second full week of the month from Monday to Thursday. The unit has a total of 18 beds with patient ratios of 4-6:1. Common diagnoses include COPD, heart failure, orthopedic surgeries, and general surgeries. Candidates must be willing to float to other departments based on staffing needs. A go-getter personality with initiative and a commitment to providing quality care is recommended. Dress code requires scrubs in any solid color, with scrubs being the only acceptable attire.
