Outside Sales Representative (Scaffolding Projects)

Outside Sales Representative – Tampa, FL System One is actively seeking an Outside Sales Representative for a direct hire opportunity located in Tampa, FL, supporting scaffolding projects. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers by identifying their needs and providing effective solutions through our products and services. Present and promote company products and services to prospective clients using a consultative sales approach. Develop and execute strategic plans to expand the customer base and strengthen market presence. Respond to and resolve customer concerns in a timely manner to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. Provide management with ongoing feedback regarding customer needs, market trends, competitive activity, and opportunities for new products or services. Attend networking events and industry functions to generate new business opportunities and build professional relationships. Collaborate with the Engineering team to develop design concepts and facilitate drawings that meet customer specifications and project requirements. Prepare accurate equipment take‑offs from engineered drawings and internal designs for handoff to the operations team. Organize and participate in Lunch & Learn presentations to educate potential customers on company products and services. Create and deliver clear, detailed proposals outlining products, services, and pricing. Utilize the company CRM system to manage customer relationships, maintain accurate records, and track sales pipeline activity. Outside Sales Requirements Previous outside sales experience within the scaffolding, construction, or related industry Proven ability to maintain and grow existing accounts while actively pursuing new business opportunities Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications Experience with estimating and preparing project‑related quotes or proposals Familiarity with CRM software for customer and pipeline management Compensation Salary with 3% to 5% of monthly receivables commission Vehicle Allowance – $600 per month Benefits Competitive compensation package Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and company holidays 401(k) retirement plan with company contribution/match Company‑supported training and industry networking opportunities Stable, direct hire opportunity with a growing organization System One is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
