Guaranteed Hours: 72 Hours per 2 weeks

Requirements

• 1 year of experience
• Current BLS certification
• NBCOT certification
• AK License
• EMR system: Epic
• Ability to treat in Outpatient, Acute Care, Long Term Care, and Swing Bed settings
• Experience in Dementia Management, IDDSI, Aphasia, Apraxia
• Preferred experience with Multiple Sclerosis, Muscular Dystrophy, Coma Stimulation, Anoxia, Developmental Delay, Autism, Cleft Palate
• Preferred experience with Infants, Pediatrics, and Adolescents

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose speech and language disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Provide therapeutic interventions to patients
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on speech and language disorders and treatment options
