We are proud to employ more than 500 associates and are poised to bring our operational excellence to many more facilities in the coming years.We are looking for a reliable Line of Business Controller to manage the accounting of several lines of business within the family of JMH Companies under the supervision of the Chief Financial Officer. You will be responsible for maintaining books and records of several companies as well as preparing journal entries and managing controls. In addition, this position will support the CEO in his personal financial affairs.Our ideal candidate has an excellent knowledge of accounting principles, is well organized, and has a great eye for detail. They must be able to carry out tasks autonomously and collaboratively. Core Functions:
Oversee full daily accounting operations of multiple companies across various industries.
Facilitate open lines of communication with various individuals to ensure financial reporting accuracy.
Verify and reconcile all major accounts, including but not limited to cash, revenue, payables, and receivables for each entity.
Post journal entries and produce accounting reports on a timely basis.
Assist with tax filings, audits, and reporting.
Maintain current certifications and licenses across multiple government facets.
Support month-end and year-end close process.
Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
Support CEO in managing personal financial affairs and providing financial reports
Other duties as directed by management.
Position Requirements:
Minimum of 5-7 years in progressive accounting positions
Excellent knowledge of accounting and financial processes (budgeting, financial closure, reporting, etc.)
Strong knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel)
Experience working in accounting systems (with preference towards Microsoft Business Central/NAV or R365)
Solid knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and regulations
Well-organized with the ability to prioritize with an attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
Great communication and interpersonal skills.
BS/BA in accounting or finance.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
