Position SummaryBeauty Brands is seeking an eCommerce & Digital Design Specialist to support the creative and day-to-day management of BeautyBrands.com and our digital marketing channels. Reporting to the Marketing Manager & VP of eCommerce, this hands-on role combines digital design, website content management and ecommerce merchandising to create a compelling, seamless and easy-to-shop customer experience.The ideal candidate is creative, highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to design engaging digital assets while managing the details required to keep an ecommerce site accurate, current and visually compelling. This position will serve as the primary designer for email marketing and website creative while supporting the ongoing management and merchandising of BeautyBrands.com through Shopify.Join a close-knit, collaborative team where your work makes an immediate impact on the business. We move quickly, think creatively and work together to turn ideas into action.Key ResponsibilitiesDigital Design & CreativeDesign engaging, on-brand creative for email marketing, BeautyBrands.com, landing pages, promotional campaigns and other digital initiatives.Serve as the primary designer for email and website creative, translating marketing strategies and promotional concepts into compelling customer-facing designs.Create digital assets and layouts in Figma, following established Beauty Brands brand standards while bringing fresh ideas and creative solutions to campaigns.Design responsive email creative with consideration for both desktop and mobile customer experiences.Develop website banners, promotional graphics, landing-page creative and other assets supporting product launches, brand initiatives and seasonal campaigns.Partner closely with Marketing and eCommerce teams to ensure creative effectively communicates campaign messaging, promotional offers and business priorities.Prepare, organize and maintain digital creative files and assets.eCommerce & Website ManagementSupport the daily management of BeautyBrands.com through Shopify, ensuring site content is accurate, current and visually compelling.Upload and schedule homepage banners, promotional content, landing pages and other site updates.Create, upload and maintain new products, including product information, imagery, categorization and other required content.Perform ongoing site quality assurance, reviewing content, links, imagery, pricing, promotions and the overall customer experience for accuracy.Proofread and edit website content prior to publication.Monitor the website regularly to identify and help resolve content, merchandising or customer-experience issues.Coordinate site updates around promotional launches and ensure changes are implemented accurately and on schedule.Online MerchandisingMerchandise BeautyBrands.com to make products and promotions easy for customers to discover and shop.Maintain and optimize product collections, categories, navigation and featured-product placements.Support seasonal merchandising strategies, new brand and product launches, promotional events and key ecommerce initiatives.Regularly review site presentation and product availability and make merchandising updates based on inventory, promotions and business priorities.Partner with merchandising and marketing teams to ensure featured products and brands align with current company priorities.Use site performance and customer behavior insights to help inform merchandising and content decisions.Collaboration & ExecutionManage multiple projects and deadlines across email, ecommerce and marketing calendars.Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Merchandising, IT and outside agency/vendor partners to execute digital initiatives.Communicate project status, potential risks and resource needs to help ensure projects remain on schedule.Maintain organized processes and documentation for website updates, digital assets and recurring ecommerce responsibilities.Education & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Ecommerce, Digital Media or a related field preferred.1–3 years of professional digital design, ecommerce or website experience preferred.Strong portfolio demonstrating digital design experience, particularly email, ecommerce and/or web design.Hands-on experience with Shopify strongly preferred.Professional experience using Figma required.Experience in retail, beauty or consumer ecommerce is a plus.Qualifications:Strong digital design skills with an understanding of typography, layout, visual hierarchy and brand consistency.Strong proficiency in Figma; working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and/or other Adobe Creative Suite applications is a plus.Experience designing for both desktop and mobile digital environments.Working knowledge of Shopify or comparable ecommerce platforms.Understanding of ecommerce merchandising and the online customer journey.Ability to manage product information, imagery, collections and promotional content with a high degree of accuracy.Strong attention to detail and excellent proofreading skills.Excellent organizational and project-management skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities and deadlines.Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects from concept through execution.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus.Experience with email marketing platforms and designing for email is strongly preferred.Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.What Success Looks LikeSuccess in this role means BeautyBrands.com stays accurate, fresh, visually compelling and easy to shop; digital campaigns are delivered on time and on brand; and customers experience a consistent, polished experience across email and web.
