As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room, you will play a crucial role in assessing, planning, and implementing patient care. Your expertise will ensure that each patient receives personalized and compassionate care, fostering their dignity and self-regard. You will collaborate with patients and their families to prepare for discharge and ensure continuity of care.

• Assess and evaluate nursing interventions, plans of care, and patient goals
• Provide patient care based on established standards, protocols, and policies
• Deliver patient and family education tailored to learning needs and barriers
• Delegate and supervise nursing interventions appropriately
• Prioritize patient care and seek assistance when needed
• Document all pertinent data and therapeutic interventions accurately
• Administer medications and intravenous therapy safely
• Identify and address patient safety risks and ethical issues
• Perform initial assessments and implement triage protocols
• Complete mandated reporting for abuse and forensic evidence collection
• Maintain knowledge of disaster policies and procedures
• Implement non-violent interventions for at-risk patients
• Recognize and respond to cardiac arrhythmias and administer vasoactive medications
• Initiate and maintain intubated patients, interpreting arterial blood gases
• Complete medication reconciliation documentation
• Implement components of the VAP bundle consistently
• Need 2 years experience in setting
• COVID-19 vaccine (medical and religious exemptions may apply)
