What You’ll Do: Own large pieces of our backend codebase: Python, Flask, and SqlAlchemy Lead projects pulling performance critical parts out of our core codebase into high‑performance real‑time microservices. Develop data/analytics pipelines Measure and improve performance across all of our systems. Build integrations with third‑party APIs: Slack, o365, Zendesk, Teams, etc. Skills and Experience: 5+ Years working professionally with distributed systems Experience with Python and microservice architectures Comfortable working with a small team in a fast‑paced, highly collaborative environment Experience in all stages of the Software Development cycle from concept to production Demonstrated ability to lead projects Preferred Skills: Experience writing Rust and/or Go AWS, Kubernetes, Kinesis, ElasticSearch, terraform Experience developing highly scalable backend microservices in AWS Experience working with NLP, Spacy and/or Huggingface is a plus What You’ll Get: Competitive compensation and benefits that include medical, dental, vision.
