Job Title

Emergency Room Registered Nurse (Nights)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Schedule is typically 7 days on / 7 days off, alternating 36 and 48 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Rotate regularly through the Main ED, Fast Track, and Observation Unit areas as assigned
• Perform triage, quick registration, entry screening, and coverage of additional screening areas as needed
• Adapt to daily and mid-shift area reassignments based on patient volume and unit needs
• Assist with testing and/or immunization clinics as operationally required
• Float to other departments when qualified, including taking patient loads or performing task-oriented support such as answering call lights and phones

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience in Emergency Room / Emergency Department
• American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification
• American Heart Association (AHA) ACLS certification
• PALS or ENPC certification
• TNCC certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a multi-area emergency department environment including fast track and observation settings
• Ability to adapt to changing assignments and float to other clinical departments as needed
