The ideal candidate is a seasoned, strategic leader who brings executive presence, strong commercial acumen, and a hands-on approach to delivering at scale.Your ImpactKey ResponsibilitiesEvent Strategy & LeadershipLead a cross-functional team assembled for Hanger LIVE, driving end-to-end execution through clear ownership, accountability, and leadership across workstreamsSet the overarching vision and multi-year strategy for Hanger LIVE and the Global Partners Summit, aligned to Hanger's brand and growth objectivesLead all phases of event delivery, from strategic planning and budget ownership through to on-site execution and post-event analysisEstablish frameworks, processes, and standards that ensure consistency, quality, and scalability across both event platformsPresent event strategy, performance, and recommendations to the CMO and senior leadership teamCreate and lead operating mechanisms to drive ongoing progress for Global Partners SummitCommunicationsWork with internal and external communications teams to develop and oversee integrated, multi-channel communication strategies for both events, targeting internal teams, global partners, and external audiencesChampion compelling, on-brand storytelling across all event touchpoints, from promotional campaigns and digital content to keynote messaging and partner briefingsServe as a senior communications lead for high-stakes partner and stakeholder interactions surrounding both eventsPartner EngagementServe as a senior relationship owner for Hanger's global partner network, cultivating meaningful partnerships that extend beyond individual eventsDefine and lead a partner engagement strategy that maximizes participation, satisfaction, and long-term value from both Hanger LIVE and the Global Partners SummitOversee the full partner journey from onboarding and briefings through to post-event follow-up and ongoing relationship managementLeadership & Cross-Functional CollaborationLead and develop a team of four National Events Specialists, providing strategic direction, day-to-day guidance, and ongoing coaching to drive performance an professional growthCollaborate with Marketing and Communications leaders to integrate events into broader band and product marketing strategies, ensuring events reinforce go-to-market priorities and amplify campaign impactServe as a strategic partner to the CMO, contributing to broader marketing planning and brand strategyBuild strong cross-functional relationships to ensure event programming is aligned with business needsManage and oversee external agencies, production partners, and vendors to deliver high-quality outcomes within budgetMinimum Qualifications8–12 years of progressive experience in marketing and communications with responsibility in event strategy and execution — with at least 3 years in a senior or director-level roleDemonstrated success leading large-scale, global or flagship events with significant business impactExperience operating at an executive level, including presenting to and partnering with C-suite stakeholdersBackground in B2B, enterprise, or partner-led environments strongly preferredMust have, or be eligible to obtain, a valid driver’s license and driving record within the standards outlined within Hanger’s Motor Vehicle Safety Policy and Procedures. Additional Success FactorsEstablishes and assures adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements.
