Schedule: 6 hour shifts on Monday - Friday Some people are called to care. If you're one of them — and you have a heart for the elderly — this opportunity is for you. AmeriCare Plus, LLC is seeking a compassionate and dependable caregiver (CNA, NA, or PCA) to provide in-home personal care to Client in Waynesboro, VA - Needs ADL and IADL help . — a great fit for someone who values stability and meaningful one-on-one work.
**Additional hours available, if willing to travel.
Responsibilities:
Assist client with personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing
Support mobility and transfers (e.g., bed to wheelchair)
Prepare light meals
Provide medication reminders
Offer companionship and emotional support
Perform light housekeeping duties
Monitor and report changes in client health or behavior
Requirements:
CNA, NA, or PCA certification (online training provided for those interested in PCA certification)
Reliable transportation and valid Virginia driver's license
Social Security card & 2 professional references
Must pass background check per State and Federal requirements
Compassionate, patient, and dependable
Respectful and professional demeanor — experience with or appreciation for veterans a plus
