Senior Tax Manager Public Accounting | Leadership Opportunity | Hybrid Flexibility

A growing public accounting firm is seeking an experienced Senior Tax Manager to join its leadership team. This position offers the opportunity to work with a strong middle-market and high-net-worth client base while playing a key role in mentoring staff, managing client relationships, and contributing to the continued growth of the firm.

What You’ll Be Responsible For Client Leadership

• Serve as a primary advisor to business owners and individual clients
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships
• Provide strategic tax planning and consulting recommendations

Technical Tax Work

• Oversee complex returns including:
  • Partnerships
  • S-Corporations
  • Corporations
  • Individual and fiduciary returns
• Research and resolve advanced tax matters
• Review returns and deliverables prepared by staff and seniors

Team & Firm Leadership

• Mentor and develop tax staff and seniors
• Assist with workflow management and project delegation
• Partner with firm leadership on operational and growth initiatives
• Help foster a collaborative, team-oriented culture

Background the Firm Is Looking For

• CPA designation required
• 7+ years of public accounting tax experience
• Prior leadership or management experience within a CPA firm
• Strong technical knowledge across business and individual taxation
• Experience working directly with clients and managing engagements
• Ability to balance technical expertise with relationship management
