Testing items to confirm functionality or authenticity prior to posting (e.g., electronics, jewelry). Basic understanding of third-party research software, TeraPeak; including the ability to use listing and shipping software, SureDone, ShipStation. Ability to use listing and shipment software at a fast pace. Assisting with photography of items for sale to be displayed on auction website. Handling phone and emailing customer support in a timely manner. Following up on all orders with customers in real time. Meeting daily posting quotas and weekly and monthly sales targets determined by Supervisor. Taking an active role and partnering with the District Sales Manager, E-Commerce Specialist Associate, and team members in the day-to-day operation of the e-commerce business. Qualifications High School graduate or equivalent. Demonstrated competency in skill area as indicated by verifiable training and/or experience. Ability to read and write and to understand and follow both written and verbal instructions. Physical Demands Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis. Ability to grasp, push, pull objects and move heavy objects such as household and office furniture, packages, and all other bulk items. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to perform various repetitive motion tasks. Schedule Our stores operate 7 days per week. Work schedules are determined by Management and employee must be flexible to always ensure adequate store coverage. Full-time associates may be scheduled to work any full-time shift including evenings, weekends, and holidays. The Salvation Army will comply with all governmental orders and any contractual obligations relative to COVID-19 safety measures, including mandatory vaccination of staff, if required.
