About This Position The Oklahoma State University Department of Computer Science invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor of Computer Science. We seek candidates with teaching interests in game development, game design, and GPU pipeline programming, supported by a strong record of teaching and curriculum development across core Computer Science domains. The position begins August 15, 2026. Responsibilities Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in game development, game design, GPU pipeline programming, and core CS areas. Developing new courses and contributing to curriculum growth in both online and in‑person formats. Supporting OSU’s land‑grant mission through excellence in teaching and community outreach. Contributing to the department’s online certificate and degree programs. Developing an introductory online high school concurrent computer science course as part of the Cowboy Concurrent Academy. Required Qualifications Ph.D. in Computer Science or a closely related discipline (degree must be conferred on or before the agreed upon start date). Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge Demonstrated ability to develop new courses and deliver instruction in both online and in‑person formats. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to mentor students and collaborate with colleagues. Preferred Qualifications Research experience in game development, game design, or related areas. Record of successful college or university‑level teaching and student mentorship. #J-18808-Ljbffr
