Medical Assistant

Acute Care Clinics of America is seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our Jamestown team. In this full-time, Monday - Friday Position, you will also be required to work at least one Saturday a month. You'll support patient care in a fast-paced clinical setting alongside our providers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with patient care under provider supervision
• Prepare and maintain clean, organized exam rooms and equipment
• Support clinical procedures and complete medical documentation
• Help manage patient flow and ensure timely communication
• Greet patients warmly and maintain a professional, caring attitude
• Respond effectively in emergencies
• Follow all safety, infection control, and clinic procedures

Qualifications:

• Strong communication and multitasking skills
• Experience in a busy medical office preferred; new grads welcome
• Comfortable with basic computer tasks; EMR experience a plus
• Team player with ability to work independently
• Up-to-date BLS certification required
• Phlebotomy experience and e-MDs software knowledge a plus
• Willingness to learn motivational interviewing and teach-back techniques
