Manage the full order lifecycle: processing, modifications, cancellations, and ensuring real‑time tracking accuracy. Monitor and resolve back‑order statuses, proactively communicate timelines, and provide formal proof of delivery to stakeholders. Work closely with logistics teams and vendors to ensure customer needs are met with excellent precision and care. Serve as a point of contact for internal and external customer inquiries, resolving complex order discrepancies with a focus on first‑contact resolution. Identify opportunities to improve internal processes and align workflows for better efficiency. Engage in cross‑training to support the Sales Support Manager, ensuring team stability and shared knowledge. Research products and nurture external vendor relationships to partner on product availability and confirm transparent pricing. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. 3+ years of customer service experience. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple workflows. Proactive initiative and collaborative spirit to meet team timelines. Creative problem‑solving and detailed product research capabilities. Growth mindset, positive attitude, and eagerness to learn. Experience supporting inclusive environments and fostering understanding across teams. Preferred Qualifications Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Suite and experience with ERP and CRM software (SAP, Salesforce, etc.). Background in the Packaged Gas/Welding Supply industry.
