A leading player in the furniture distribution industry is searching for an Assistant Controller to join their team in Gardena, CA! You'll be responsible for processing in-house reports such as daily cash, commission and freight tracking reports. Pay Range: $90,000 - $110,000 DOE Responsibilities- Create and manage spreadsheets for financial reports (daily cash, commission, freight tracking)
- Analyze freight costs and manage FedEx expenses
- Conduct month-end close processes
- Prepare for future budgeting responsibilities
- Learn all departmental tasks and eventually oversee AP/AR processes
- 5-8 years of accounting experience, preferably in ecommerce or distribution
- Experience as Assistant Controller or similar role
- Proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks Desktop is essential
- Familiarity with Google Docs, Inventory Systems, and specialized systems
- Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred but not required
- A team player with a desire for cross-training and collaborative work across departments
