Jason Flischel - State Farm Agent State Farm Agency is looking for a motivated, personable professional to join our team in Lewis Center, Ohio.

This is a sales-focused position for someone who enjoys talking with people, building relationships, working toward goals, and being rewarded for strong performance. You'll help new and existing customers understand their insurance options while building a pipeline of business across auto, home, life, and supplemental health insurance products.

Insurance experience is not required. If you have a background in sales, customer service, retail, hospitality, or another people-focused role, we'd like to hear from you. We'll help the right candidate obtain the insurance licensing needed to succeed in the position.

Compensation & Earning Potential

You'll start with a $40,000 annual base salary plus uncapped commission, bonuses, and additional incentive opportunities.

A new team member can realistically expect to earn approximately $50,000–$60,000 during their first year , while strong performers have the opportunity to earn $90,000–$100,000 or more .

Our commission structure rewards production and is designed to give strong performers significant earning potential. New hires receive a three-month ramp-up period as they build their skills and pipeline before reaching the standard monthly production threshold.

Actual earnings will vary based on individual sales performance.

What You'll Do

This position is approximately 90% new-business sales and 10% service for existing customers . Your responsibilities will include:

• Working agency-provided leads and developing new sales opportunities 
• Making outbound calls and following up with prospective customers by phone, text, and email 
• Conducting insurance conversations and appointments both virtually and in person 
• Asking questions to understand each customer's individual needs 
• Educating customers on appropriate auto, home, life, and supplemental health insurance options 
• Building relationships that generate repeat business and referrals 
• Developing your own referral-based pipeline as your network grows 
• Following up consistently with prospects throughout the sales process 
• Maintaining accurate customer and sales records 
• Working toward individual and agency sales goals 
• Providing occasional service assistance to existing customers 

Cold calling and outbound prospecting are part of the position , particularly while you're developing your own pipeline. As you become established, you'll have the opportunity to build a stronger referral-based book of business.

You do not need previous insurance experience or an existing insurance license to apply. For the right candidate:

• The agency will assist you through the licensing process 
• Licensing costs are paid by the agency
• You'll work closely with our manager during your initial training 
• You'll have opportunities to shadow experienced team members 
• We provide a structured three-month ramp-up period to help you develop your skills and pipeline 
• Depending on your progress, you may begin working independently in as little as two weeks 

Obtaining the appropriate insurance licenses will be an early priority because team members must be properly licensed before they can earn commissions.
