Behavior Technician (BT) / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
Florida Autism Center, part of the BlueSprig family of companies, is hiring compassionate, motivated individuals who enjoy working with children and want to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with autism.
No ABA experience? No problem! We provide paid training, RBT certification, hands-on mentorship, and ongoing support to help you build a rewarding career.
What You'll Do:
- Provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy in center-based and/or home-based settings
- Help children develop communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills
- Work one-on-one or in small groups with clients
- Collect data and document client progress
- Communicate with families, supervisors, and team members
- Participate in training and professional development
- Follow company policies, confidentiality requirements, and mandated reporting standards
What We're Looking For:
- At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent
- Reliable transportation, attendance, and punctuality
- Strong communication, teamwork, and a passion for helping children
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and frequently sit, stand, crouch, and get on/off the floor
- Passion for helping children and families
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- If applying to a Florida location, you must obtain a Florida driver's license before completing training
- If applying to a Florida location, Florida Medicaid fingerprinting is required
