Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,286-$2,403 per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Start date: 09/21/2026 Facility/work setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital Guaranteed hours: 0.0 Responsibilities Plan, implement, and evaluate perioperative patient care plans based on assessment, serving as Day Surgery RN, Intra-Operative RN (Circulating and/or Scrub), and PACU RN as needed. Monitor, document, and communicate patient condition; provide thorough handoffs to receiving nursing teams. Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient transfer, discharge, referrals, and psychosocial support needs; identify barriers to effective communication. Assess learning needs of patient and family; provide education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances; effectively delegate to ancillary personnel. Maintain adherence to perioperative standards and policies; ensure Perioperative Verification is complete before entering the surgical suite. Respond to emergencies using ACLS/PALS-aligned protocols; protect patient confidentiality and perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Active, unencumbered RN license in Colorado or a compact state. BLS required within six months of hire; ACLS required within six months of hire. PALS or ENPC required within one year of hire; TNCC preferred but required for call positions. Minimum of two years hospital nursing experience; previous OR experience preferred. High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred; valid RN licensure in Colorado or compact state. Ability to work in a fast-paced perioperative environment; ability to pass background check and pre-employment drug screen; meet health requirements.
