Join Our Team: High-Risk Labor and Delivery RN

Job Description:


- Are you ready to make a real impact in the lives of high-risk obstetric patients?
- Bring your expertise to a dynamic Labor and Delivery unit where you will provide exceptional care to mothers and their newborns.
- Work in a high-risk obstetrical unit with a focus on labor and delivery.


Key Responsibilities:


- Manage and care for high-risk patients during labor and delivery.
- Circulate in C-sections and recover high acuity patients.
- Perform vaginal deliveries, C-sections, D&C, and post-delivery recovery care.


Requirements:


- Minimum of 2 years of experience in high-risk labor and delivery care.
- High-risk obstetrical bedside training.
- Intermediate AWONN fetal monitoring certification is preferred.


Unit Highlights:


- 24 Beds with patient ratios of approximately 2:1 and 3:1.
- Utilize GE fetal monitors and Meditech documentation system.
- 3-12 hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, including weekend rotation.
- Ability to float to the antepartum unit as needed.

Dress Code:


- Scrubs required (specific color will be provided).
- Clean, healthy nails with no artificial enhancements; hair must be neat and clean.
- Tattoos to be covered whenever possible; visible piercings other than ears are prohibited.
