Job Description As a Security Officer Unarmed Driving Patrol in Mililani, HI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for visitors, tenants, and staff. This driving role calls for strong communication and customer service while responding to concerns and reporting observations. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon09:00 PM - 05:00 AMThur09:00 PM - 05:00 AMFri09:00 PM - 05:00 AMSat09:00 PM - 05:00 AMSun09:00 PM - 05:00 AM Pre-Employment Requirements: Valid Driver's License - AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123) What You'll Do: Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, property policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail common areas, parking facilities, building entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards or maintenance concerns. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed. Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, reporting suspicious behavior, policy violations, and security-related concerns according to site procedures. Complete detailed activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation while communicating relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
