Job Title: AI Specialist
Location : Rochester, MI (Hybrid)
Job Description
We are seeking a AI Specialist to support enterprise AI initiatives, coordinate AI pilots, strengthen AI governance, and drive responsible adoption of AI technologies across business functions. This role combines strategic program oversight with hands-on coordination, stakeholder management, and user enablement.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate AI pilots, define success criteria, and track outcomes.
- Develop and maintain AI governance, policies, and responsible AI practices.
- Maintain an enterprise inventory of AI tools, vendors, pilots, and use cases.
- Manage AI platform access, licensing, usage, token consumption, and costs.
- Coordinate AI vendors, deliverables, demonstrations, and issue resolution.
- Lead AI Communities of Practice and AI champion programs.
- Coordinate AI onboarding, training, guidance, and user support.
- Identify high-value AI opportunities and promote successful use cases.
- Track AI adoption, business value, efficiency gains, and cost savings.
- Develop executive dashboards and provide leadership updates.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience managing technology initiatives or enterprise software projects.
- Hands-on experience with generative AI platforms such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or Claude .
- Understanding of AI governance, privacy, cybersecurity, and responsible AI.
- Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

- Agile and/or PMP experience
- Public-sector experience preferred
