About the Position

Opportunity:

TRAVEL - MRI Tech

Job Details:

• Work 10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with an alternate shift Friday through Sunday and Tuesday from 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM
• 40 hours guaranteed per week
• 1st floor of the main building
• Work with GE 1.5 MRI equipment
• Use Meditech and Centricity PACS electronic medical record systems
• Perform basic MRI procedures including head, spine, and abdomen imaging
• Perform cardiac and functional MRI procedures
• On-call required Saturday nights from 9:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Minimum 6 months of current MRI Tech experience required
• ARRT (MR) certification required
• BLS certification required
• GE equipment experience preferred
• Cardiac MRI experience preferred
• Must be a self-starter with a positive attitude and ability to work independently

Facility:

This facility is a 304-bed hospital with a dedicated MRI unit staffed by 4 full-time technologists and 3 PRN staff. The day shift operates with 3 full-time technologists, while the unit remains open until 11:00 PM with additional evening coverage. The facility features modern GE 1.5 MRI equipment and utilizes both Meditech and Centricity PACS systems to support comprehensive imaging services.
