Senior Financial Accountant

Compensation range: $110,000-$120,000 salary range plus bonus and equity through our MyShare program. Responsibilities Own the month-end and year end process from start to finish, closing financial reporting within five days; Perform monthly account reconciliations for the balance sheet; Prepare the monthly financial reporting package and associated financial schedules; Assist with carbon and environmental reporting requirements; Assist with the external auditors and their requests; Perform variance analysis and seek explanations; Lead investigations to identify root cause to issues and recommend counter measures; Lead and co-lead projects to enhance internal controls and processes; Assist in the preparation of budgets and quarterly forecasts; Assist in coaching and developing team members; Preparation of ad-hoc reports and analysis for management; Other duties as assigned. Experience And Key Characteristics Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Finance, Accounting & Economics; CPA highly desirable but not essential; 3+ years of work experience in accounting roles preferably in logistics; Must have a continuous improvement mindset; Use of Great Plains is a plus; OneStream experience is a plus; Strong humility: Be authentic, hands-on, who can roll up his/her sleeves and work in a fast-paced environment; Integrity and Values: A growth-oriented professional with a focus on honesty, integrity and a clear sense of ethical decision-making; Self-starter: Must possess a high degree of enthusiasm and intellectual curiosity to educate her/himself and quickly get up to speed independently; Strong communication skills, both written and verbal; Ability to coordinate and manage simultaneous projects within set deadlines.
