Call for Salary Rate - Job Summary: The CT Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography equipment. They provide high-quality imaging services to facilitate accurate diagnosis while ensuring patient safety and comfort. Responsibilities: Operate CT imaging equipment to produce detailed cross-sectional images of the body for diagnostic interpretation. Apply radiation safety principles and professional judgment to minimize patient exposure. Prepare and position patients appropriately for each procedure, ensuring comfort and safety during imaging. Maintain accurate patient records, images, and departmental documentation. Assist with quality assurance and routine maintenance of CT equipment. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to support diagnostic needs and provide appropriate patient care. Qualifications: Current ARRT certification in Radiography required; ARRT in CT certification preferred. Ability to perform all diagnostic CT exams with minimal supervision. Demonstrated knowledge of radiation safety protocols and imaging technologies. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well under stress. Willingness to pursue continuing education and expand skills into other imaging modalities. Certification or experience in sterile technique and contrast administration is advantageous.
