Certified Nursing Assistant - FT Nights

Certified Nursing Assistant – Full Time Nights Compensation: $16.24 – $18.04 per hour Department: Medical Key Responsibilities Provides basic nursing care to patients under the direction of a licensed nurse, including assistance with ADLs, vital sign measurement, and accurate documentation of patient data. Maintains professional behavior and prioritizes workflow to ensure completion of all assigned duties while adhering to policies, procedures, and patient safety. Collaborates with other health‑care team members, participates in staff meetings and training sessions, and notifies the licensed nurse of any patient concerns or issues. Demonstrates basic knowledge of nursing procedures and uses medical supplies and equipment proficiently, ensuring proper storage and cleaning. Performs additional duties as assigned by the supervising nurse, such as assisting with patient care in different units and participating in orientation of new staff members. Qualifications & Requirements Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Completion of a Nursing Assistant training course. Experience: Knowledge of basic patient care methods, procedures, and techniques. Ability to perform a variety of simple, routine tasks while maintaining workflow. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen. Must maintain clearance for a Public Trust Position if required by the role. Ability to communicate clearly in English, both written and verbal. Proficiency with standard computer software such as Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and related database systems. Licenses & Certifications: Current Nursing Assistant certification in the state of practice is required.
