Clinical Pharmacist

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our part time Clinical Pharmacist, you'll provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care that promotes safe, effective medication use and positive patient outcomes. Working collaboratively with providers, patients, and interdisciplinary care teams, you'll apply your clinical expertise to optimize medication therapy while upholding the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Every day you will review and verify medication orders, provide medication counseling and clinical recommendations, document interventions, and resolve medication-related concerns. You'll also support pharmacy operations by collaborating with pharmacy technicians, utilizing pharmacy technology systems, and serving as a trusted medication expert for patients and healthcare teams.

• Review, verify, and dispense medications while ensuring safe, accurate, and evidence-based medication therapy.

• Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary care teams to optimize medication therapy and resolve drug-related concerns.

• Provide medication counseling, drug information, and clinical recommendations to patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.

• Document clinical interventions and maintain accurate pharmacy records in accordance with organizational, state, and federal standards.

• Support pharmacy technicians, contribute to staff education, and promote efficient, compliant pharmacy operations.

Job Requirements

• Pharmacist License in the State of Nebraska

• Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association

Pay Range

$49.54 - $73.70 /hour
