Registered Nurse (RN) - Behavioral Health

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Behavioral Health Unit to provide high-quality care during night shifts. This full-time position offers 36 hours per week with 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate and knowledgeable nursing care to patients in the Behavioral Health Unit.
Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans.
Monitor patient progress and adjust care as needed, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic care to patients.
Educate patients and families about treatment plans and coping strategies.

Qualifications

Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state.
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience preferred.
Experience in psychiatric or behavioral health nursing is a plus.
Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to mentor and support new graduates.

Additional Information

Please note that one of the RN positions is currently open due to unexpected FMLA leave, and we are also onboarding a new graduate nurse who will need to pass their board exam prior to starting.
