GI Lab Registered Nurse (RN)

The GI Lab Registered Nurse is responsible for providing quality patient care in an outpatient setting. This role involves working closely with patients undergoing gastrointestinal procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of patients for GI procedures.
• Monitor patients during procedures and provide appropriate care.
• Manage preoperative and post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) responsibilities.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Schedule

This position offers a daytime schedule from Monday to Friday, with working hours from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. There are no weekend shifts or on-call requirements.

Qualifications

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in GI procedures, preoperative care, and PACU.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with a variety of GI procedures.
• Previous experience in outpatient settings is advantageous.
