Material Handler

I. Job Summary Material Handlers move recyclable material through the facility, conducts material grading and evaluates for sale destination. II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Moves material through the facility with the use of material handling equipment (i.e. forklift, pallet jack, hoist, crane) as required. * Loads materials into vehicles and installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit. * Uses the computer to dispense and receive information such as part numbers, quantities, locations, comments, etc.

• Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated area.
• Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on

cases, bales, or other containers.

• Completes paperwork to properly document work performed.
• Conducts material audits.

III. Qualifications A. Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D
• No experience Zero (0) to four (4) years previous experience (in addition to

Pay The expected base pay for this on-site position is $19.65. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
