Corporate Security Specialist

About the Role Corporate Security Specialist (HQ) tasked with protecting people and property at the BetMGM Corporate Office in Jersey City, NJ, and supporting global teams through the company’s Emergency Response Center. Role covers safety, security, surveillance, compliance, audit, inventory control, facilities maintenance, and emergency response. Location & Shift Jersey City, NJ; Fully onsite; Overnight shift. Responsibilities Manning one or more secured entry points, checking visitors, ID, enforcing banned persons list, and maintaining access control, key control, and CCTV systems. Delivering customer service to corporate office staff. Patrolling facility and reporting and correcting security and safety issues. Performing routine inspections of equipment and reporting. Liaising with Harborside Plaza building security, emergency services, law enforcement, and other entities. Conducting routine checks and scheduling maintenance and cleanliness for office areas. Assisting with receiving of services and merchandise, ensuring proper payments and recording receipts. Using incident reporting, access control, CCTV, and key access systems to prevent unauthorized access. Acting as lead incident commander during emergencies, directing response, evacuation, and procedures. Reporting to the Emergency Response Center on emergencies, threats, harassment, suspicious activity, loss of life, business interruption, fraud, theft, property damage, or other hazardous events. Coordinating interventions with other facilities, departments, and external agencies. Documenting, reporting, and maintaining logs for safety, security, surveillance, visitor, identification, CCTV, facilities, maintenance, cleanliness, key, inventory, and emergency matters. Assisting with inventory control of on‑site company assets and performing audits. Assisting with special events, catering, VIP visitors, and hospitality functions. Performing other duties as assigned. Qualifications Must be or become licensed by the proper gaming entities; license is a condition of hire and continued employment. 1+ years experience in security, surveillance, safety, loss prevention, emergency services, or related field. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Knowledge of the gaming industry is a plus. Compensation The hourly salary range is $26.54 to $34.83. Pay may vary based on geography, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications. Eligible for performance‑based bonus plan.
