TravelNurseSource is working with Malone Healthcare to find a qualified Telemetry RN in Corpus Christi, Texas, 78401!

Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care on a Med/Surg unit with a maximum patient ratio of 6:1
Perform standard nursing skills including IV insertions, urinary catheter insertion and maintenance, and central line maintenance
Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
Document all patient care activities accurately within the

Meditech EMR

system
Communicate effectively with all members of the interdisciplinary care team
Float to Med/Surg units as needed based on hospital census demands
Required Qualifications
Active RN licensure

(or compact license eligibility in Texas)
Minimum 1 year of acute Med/Surg experience within the last year
Demonstrated ability to safely manage 4-6 patients simultaneously
Proficiency with electronic health record documentation
Preferred Experience / Skills
2+ years of acute Med/Surg experience within the last year
Background in orthopedics or neurosurgery nursing
Med/Surg/Telemetry combined experience
Friendly, positive, patient-centered, and team-focused personality
