The team works closely with building owners, engineers, architects, and property managers to analyze problems, develop strategies, and implement practical solutions for exterior building maintenance and restoration. While the company does not provide licensed design or engineering services, it collaborates with or recommends qualified design professionals when needed. Role Description This full-time, on-site Project Manager role is based in Iowa City, IA. The Project Manager oversees restoration and maintenance projects from planning through completion, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation. Responsibilities include coordinating expediting activities, managing logistics, monitoring project progress, and conducting or overseeing inspections to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with project specifications. The role requires regular collaboration with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to communicate timelines, resolve issues, and maintain project documentation. The Project Manager is also expected to support continuous improvement in processes, cost control, and customer satisfaction. Qualifications Project management skills, including experience leading construction or restoration projects, managing budgets, and overseeing schedules. Expeditor and expediting skills to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials, equipment, and services. Inspection experience, with the ability to review work for quality, safety, and adherence to specifications and applicable standards. Logistics management skills to coordinate labor, materials, and equipment across multiple job sites and timelines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients, subcontractors, and cross-functional teams. Ability to interpret construction drawings, contracts, and technical documentation. Proficiency with project management software and basic office applications. Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, business, or a related field, or equivalent project management experience. Knowledge of building envelope systems, concrete, masonry, waterproofing, or roofing is preferred.
