A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2025-2026 school year in Antioch, CA. This contract position offers the chance to work within a school setting, supporting students' communication and language development throughout the entire academic year. Caseload options are available, allowing you to tailor your workload to suit your professional strengths and preferences.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and implement speech and language therapy programs for students.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to student evaluations and therapy sessions.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute recommendations.
- Utilize evidence-based practices to address communication disorders effectively.
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license or Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- Experience working in school environments preferred.
- Ability to manage and adapt caseloads appropriately.
- Will consider Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) with relevant experience and qualifications.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with students and multidisciplinary teams.
