About the Position

Job Title: Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Pediatrics Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Pediatrics Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Must have a valid license prior to start date Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP Must-Have: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications are required. Minimum of 2 years of experience is necessary. Description: First time travelers are accepted. Shift requirements include working 3x12, with holiday coverage and every other weekend required (Saturday, Sunday). Candidates will be required to rotate in various areas including the Emergency Department, Adult ICU, Adult Med Surg Unit, Adult Progressive Care Unit, Labor and Delivery, and NICU. The Emergency Department is a full-service community-based department, and candidates may be required to assist with some pediatric care as applicable in the emergency room. Travelers must work 2 of the 3 major holidays, as determined by the leadership team. This facility needs a traveler who can float between high-risk deliveries and NICU II (30-40% of time during the 13-week assignment), Adult acute care, and Emergency Room. This position is not a home-based position but will float as necessary to meet the needs and skill set upon arrival. The best fit would be adult travelers with Labor and Delivery experience. Floating is required for all travelers within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals. Candidates must be able to assist in high-risk deliveries and provide care in NICU settings.
