PRN Occupational Therapist

OT Occupational Therapist – PRN/Part‑time Our skilled nursing facility is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a PRN or part‑time position. The successful candidate will provide personalized, high‑quality care to residents, develop and implement treatment plans, and collaborate with patients, families, and caregivers to improve functional independence. Responsibilities Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals to enhance patients' functional independence. Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers regarding diagnoses, progress, and therapeutic techniques. Assess patients’ physical, communication, and cognitive abilities and adjust treatment plans accordingly. Use therapeutic techniques to rehabilitate, maintain, or enhance motor skills and overall ability to perform everyday activities. Document treatment plans, progress notes, and communicate outcomes with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team. Qualifications Active state Occupational Therapist license required. Previous SNF/long‑term care experience preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to document clearly.
