Your role is essential in ensuring timely, accurate medication delivery and maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and comfort. Key Responsibilities Administer medications accurately and efficiently per physician orders Complete medication passes within scheduled timeframes Observe residents and report changes in condition to the Charge Nurse promptly Maintain accurate documentation, including PRN charting and medication records Monitor medication supplies and report reorders as neededAssist with drug inventory and documentation compliance Follow all facility policies, safety protocols, and state regulations Participate in staff meetings, in-services, and training sessions Qualifications Current Certified Medication Technician (CMT) certification – Missouri (Required) Active CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) license – Missouri (Required) BLS/CPR Certification (Required) Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation preferred Strong communication skills (verbal & written English) Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment Preferred Skills Medication administration Patient care / resident care Skilled nursing facility (SNF) experience Electronic medical records (EMR) documentation Infection control & safety compliance Schedule Evening Shift (Full-Time / Part-Time opportunities available) Weekend and holiday rotation may be required Bluebird Wellness & Rehabilitation provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
