School-Based Special Education Paraprofessional Building Connections Academy – Martinez, CA Make an impact every day! About the Role: Hours: In‑person, Flexible Days, Flexible times between 8:30AM to 5:30PM Minimum Availability: 12 Hours/3 Days Pay: $22–$28/hr (based on experience, certification, and education). Certification: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) required or willingness to become certified within 90 days (paid training included!). As a School‑Based Special Education Paraprofessional, you’ll provide 1:1 behavioral and academic support to students with autism and other developmental differences. You’ll help students develop communication, social, and life skills while fostering a safe, supportive, and fun learning environment. Required immunizations including MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella), Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis), Varicella (Chicken Pox), Hep B, and TB clearance (within 4 years).
