We are currently expanding our team and seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Dishwasher to join us.

Job Overview: As a Dishwasher at Backyard Dallas, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in our kitchen. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are washed efficiently to support the seamless operation of our culinary team.

Duties/Responsibilities:  

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using dishwashers or by hand
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition
• Ensure all washed items are properly stored
• Assist with basic food prep tasks as needed
• Handle garbage disposal and recycling activities
• Adhere to health and safety standards at all times

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
• Team player with good communication skills
• Knowledge of proper sanitation procedures

Physical Requirements: 

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
• Must be able to lift, balance, and carry trays of food weighing up to 25 pounds.
