Class A Truck Driver

Cheeseman Transport is hiring CDL A Local Dry Van Drivers in Stroudsburg, PA . Drivers will be hauling forklifts, tow motors and their parts in 53ft dry van trailers. Compensation

• Average weekly pay: $1,800
  • Pay based on miles and stops with a guaranteed minimum hourly rate of $31.80
  • Paid practical miles, paid for all miles loaded or empty
  • Stop pay: $15 - $33 per stop
    • 5 - 10 stops per day
  • Securing pay: $1 per 1000 pounds secured
• Bonuses:
  • Sign on bonus: $1,500
  • Referral bonus: $5,000
  • Quarterly safety bonus

• Paid via direct deposit weekly

Home Time, Route, & Schedule

• Home Time: Home daily
• Schedule: Monday - Friday
• Shift: Starting between 5-6am
• Route: Delivering anywhere within a 250 mile radius of Stroudsburg, PA
  • Includes PA, NY, NJ, NYC, & CT
• Level of Touch: No loading or unloading, must secure freight

Equipment

• Newer model Kenworth, Peterbilt, and Freightliner trucks
• Automatic transmission
• Governed speed: 68 mph
• ELD equipped using Samsara
• Outward facing camera

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have CDL A license
• Must have a minimum of 6 months verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience
• Must have hazmat & tanker endorsements or be willing to obtain within 60 days of employment
• No felony in the past 7 years
• No alcohol related offense in the past 5 years
• Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations
• Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen
• Hiring Radius: Drivers must live within 40 miles of Stroudsburg, PA
