We are currently seeking an experienced CDL A Regional Driver for our client in Plainfield, Indiana. This is a solo regional route with an average weekly earning potential of $2,000+ , based on route mileage, stops, layovers, and additional component pay.

About the Position

The CDL A Driver will operate a solo regional route delivering palletized freight to warehouses and storage facilities. The route averages approximately 2,300 miles, 17 stops, and 3 layovers per week. Drivers will be responsible for unloading freight at each stop, loading returns, and may be required to break down pallets as needed.

Layovers will be provided in a hotel room arranged by Penske. This opportunity may also have the potential to become a lease-to-hire position for the right candidate.

Pay & Schedule

• Average Weekly Pay: $2,000+

• Mileage: $0.76 per mile

• Stop Pay: $20 per stop

• Layover Pay: $50 per layover

• Delay Pay: $19.50 per delay

• Schedule: Sunday-Thursday

• Start Time: Approximately 9:00 PM

• Route: Approximately 2,300 miles per week

• Stops: Approximately 17 stops

• Layovers: Approximately 3 per week

• Minimum Pay: No weekly minimum

Key Responsibilities

• Complete approximately 17 stops per week

• Maintain compliance with all DOT and FMCSA safety requirements

Minimum Requirements

• Valid CDL A

• At least 1 year of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL A driving experience

• Regional driving experience preferred

• Valid DOT Medical Card

• Clean Motor Vehicle Record

• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements

• Ability to handle touch freight and unload palletized product
