Carpenter

General:The Carpenter performs a variety of skilled carpentry and building maintenance tasks in support of Belleayre Mountain operations. Work may include construction, repair, maintenance, and improvement of buildings, facilities, and infrastructure throughout the property. This position reports to the Area & Building Maintenance SupervisorDuties and Responsibilities: * Perform general carpentry work including framing, finishing, repairs, and installation of structural and finish materials. * Construct, install, repair, and maintain wood structures, drywall, trim, flooring, doors, windows, and related building components. * Perform building maintenance and repair work in guest areas, employee facilities, and operational buildings. * Operate carpentry tools and equipment including hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment in a safe and efficient manner. * Assist with construction, renovation, and seasonal projects throughout the mountain. * Read and interpret work orders, plans, sketches, and specifications as needed to complete assigned tasks. * Transport materials, supplies, and equipment to job sites across the property. * Maintain work areas, tools, and equipment in safe operating condition. * Follow all ORDA safety policies, procedures, and operational guidelines. * Work collaboratively with other maintenance staff and departments to support daily operations and special projects. * Perform other related duties as assigned.Skills and Qualifications * Knowledge of standard carpentry methods, materials, tools, and safety practices. * Position requires a flexible schedule, including weekends, early morning shifts, late shifts, and occasional call-ins at any hour as operational needs require * Ability to perform skilled carpentry work with minimal supervision. * Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. * Ability to work in a loud, active work environment. * Must possess and maintain a valid U.S. drivers license. * Ability to safely lift, carry, and move materials up to 75 pounds. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. * Ability to work in a loud, active work environment. * Self-motivated and able to work independently on assigned tasks.
