Summary

Our client is a well-established outpatient physical therapy organization that has been serving patients since 2003. With three new clinic openings in the past five years, the company continues to experience strong growth while maintaining a reputation for clinical excellence and outstanding patient care. This Clinical Director role combines hands-on clinical practice with leadership responsibilities, spending approximately 60% of time providing direct patient care and 40% managing, mentoring, and developing a team of Physical Therapists and Physical Therapist Assistants. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician who enjoys treating patients while helping lead a growing team and advancing their career within an expanding organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional outpatient physical therapy treatment and patient care
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of approximately 10 PTs and PTAs
• Drive clinical quality, patient outcomes, and team performance
• Assist with staffing, scheduling, KPI adherence, and clinic operations
• Foster a positive, collaborative, and patient-focused culture
• Weekly staff one-on-one meetings
• Monthly meetings with Fitness Director for referral/growth review
• Partner with leadership to support continued growth and operational excellence

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Licensed Physical Therapist in California
• 3+ years of outpatient orthopedic physical therapy experience
• Previous experience leading, mentoring, or supervising clinicians preferred
• Strong clinical skills with a passion for patient outcomes
• Effective communicator with proven leadership ability
• Growth-minded professional interested in advancing within a rapidly expanding organization
• Comfortable balancing patient care responsibilities with team leadership
